Rent/Purchase a property for 5 years:
- Rent of property:
  - (Gozo or southern Malta) annual rent of not less than 10,000 euros for the property
  - (other parts of Malta) annual rent of not less than 12,000 euros for the property
- Purchase of property:
  - (Gozo or southern Malta) purchase of property of not less than 300,000 euros
  - (other parts of Malta) purchase of property of not less than 350,000 euros
Donation to the government of 58,000 euros (if choosing to rent property) or 28,000 euros (if choosing to purchase property)
Charity donation: 2,000 euros
Government administrative fee: 40,000 euros

Must be at least 18 years old
Possess at least 500,000 euros in personal assets, of which 150,000 euros must be financial assets
Must have a clean criminal record
Pass a medical examination
